We like to say that we are truly GREEN.
In 2017 Ziegler South Africa installed a 178kw PV Solar System on the roof of their Johannesburg warehouse with the aim of reducing their Carbon Footprint.
At the same time Ziegler upgraded electrical equipment to Low Energy and phased out Diesel forklifts in favour of battery-operated units.
In the first 5-years the generation system on the roof effectively spared the earth over 80 632 trees and contributed to 740 tons less CO2 emissions!
