We have received notifications from carriers, advising of several issues that will affect vessel schedules, expected arrival dates and added strain on export bookings due to space limitations.
- Crew members testing positive for Covid-19 resulting in vessels not being allowed to enter ports and instructed to stay at anchorage for the 14 day quarantine.
- Inclement weather conditions in Australia are causing delays on vessel arrival and departure schedules.
- To maintain schedule integrity and due to congestion in Durban, some carriers are changing the rotation of vessels at South African ports.
